The Story

This paper will not be perfect without sharing our story.

It is safe to say that our journey has been an eventful and educational one for us. We started off wanting everything to be organic, as we believe that true mission and underpromise-overdeliver nature will get us far. We refrained from doing the new project cliches such as discord invite comps, notorious giveaways, paying influencers, paying followers and spamming marketing campaigns, etc.

Turned out, most things did not go well for us for the facts:

1. Market was somewhat bearish at the time;

2. NFT ppl started to experience a lot of rugpulls/cashgrabs/hacks/scam that they are being more cautious (rightfully so and everyone should) and flippers are playing a bigger waiting-for-hype game to catch quick-flips; and

3. Gas cost was outrageous at the time that it did not play well to our on-chain traits decision.

We then did not mint out (1,033/2,500) and obviously team felt down/upset/disappointed/sad (you name it) for obvious reasons that we do this project for all the good reasons but not getting much appreciation/support from wider audience and that development budget getting significant cuts.

However, we brushed off all negative thoughts and continued working for all of you, THE community that has been with us and supported us throughout this journey. We can’t stress enough how grateful we are for all these new friends and families in discord have been very crucial to us and has kept us going. Talks about floor were almost non-existent, whatever small updates or excitements we shared received so much love, and all of you have stuck around with us since day 1.

So what have we done since then?

  1. We reworked remaining mints as free mints

  2. We took the freedom in using reworked free mints to rollout and test our Homework dashboard and $EXP token utility model early on

  3. We focused to increase engagements with our community hands-on

  4. We made use of the popular WL model to obtain as many WL as we can get for our holders

  5. We built an alpha channel for verified holders

  6. We built partnerships & collabs with several other key projects

  7. We basically revisited and took time to polish everything in our initial roadmap out and keep keep keep keep pushing

Fast forward to today, we are now in a better position than we were in terms on confidence, supports, network, community size, and of course, floor price.
